Can you describe how the one you have differs in details from the version Cobra Automotive https://store.cobraautomotive.com/1965-r-model-package-tray/   makes?

The FB link says "This Listing Isn't Available Anymore. It may have been sold or expired. Take a look at these other items below."

Did it sell?  Can anyone post an image of the package shelf for the record?

Thanks

not to say anything wrong about mr.Vogts as my dad and him have been friends since 1st grade but nothing beats an original. I haven't held Curts piece or seen one in person of his but in the same manner that original steering wheels and bring a big arbitrage between the two / are more wanted than reproductions the same can be said for this!

The 65 wooden steering wheels are not a good example given that the typical genuine GT350 wood steering wheel(not the ones with round holes in the spokes) is easily distinguished in so many ways like thickness of wood rim, application of wood, construction of wheel rim, wheel offset etc.etc. compared to the repros. I am not aware of a authentic reproduction of the typical 65 GT350 wood wheel. The texture on package tray Curts is pretty spot on and the fiberglass mat on the back side is comparable in look to original. The main difference between the one Curt sells and a used installed original in a side by side comparison is basically patina . You would want used patina on a unrestored car . You would not want used patina in a car restored to high historical accuracy where all other parts are made to look as new. I thought you may have some insight on other differences which your reply indicates you do not. Best of luck on your auction.
