The ad is written by someone with just a passing knowledge of these cars. Someone who is going to buy it is not someone who casually stumbled upon it looking for a Chevy Vega and has no knowledge of 67 Shelby GT500 cars.

Hyperbole doesn't belong in the descriptions. In fact it is a turn off. The problem is that "used car salesmen" just can't help themselves and it is just part of their basic personality.
