Date code? That made me smile. Thanks.   The OP will be lucky to find one at all let alone a legible and appropriate date code which by the way is typically mostly obscured once installed. If he is lucky enough to find one he should be aware that it will probably be a long time before he finds another. There are alternatives that have been discussed here before. I wish him the best of luck in finding a good one for his car.
