AH! I understand now! It is only the gasket that is different!  Thanks.

Do you have a part number on that gasket?

The only numbers are tiny on the flat side of the gasket, molded in: "I.P.C. . 19".

In the Shelby Cobra GT350/500 Parts Book, on page G1, showing the oil cooler illustration--it says:
"Gasket 129559 (available only from Fram)".

I thought that was what I have, which is the square edge o-ring from an oil filter? That Fram number has never been accompanied by a picture.

This is the first time I have seen the fat gasket but now I want one. Dam.

A Google search turned up nothing useful.


I appreciate everyone's effort in posting here. Thank you. Eventually a source of the fat gasket will turn up. We need to give it time. It's only been 60 years.
