10 spoke ID help

Hello friends I currently have a set of 10 spokes for my 68 clone that my father bought about 15 years ago from an old fellow. Right now I'm trying to figure out which lug nut I need for this rim. I believe this rim is one of the versions that requires a washer along with the lug nut and would appreciate if anyone could confirm or dispute this. I have no idea when the rims were produced.

do you think this cj pony lug set would be a good alternative? they're 3/4 head but still have 1/2 thread

Those are the wrong kind. Those don't use a washer. They are a tapered seat type.

Those rims are likely from the 1990s

Roy is correct, the CJ Pony offering is not what you need.

The lugs for the wheels you have are not like the originals for that wheel, they are specific to the version of that wheel that was produced later on - you need some that look like the image posted above in reply #3.  These will use a 13/16 socket not 3/4.

Here is the box to the set of this version of 10-spoke was in on the car I had, the wheels were bought by the owner to use instead of the Mag Stars that were on the car.

Also here is a shot of the recessed valve stem hole on these wheels which is not like the originals.

The lug nut and washer that JD posted is very common . It can typically be had from your local store that sells custom wheels .

Yes, that is a common lug nut for "mags".

I do seem to remember a discussion about defending the decision to machine the repro wheels for those lugs.

"They" decided it was better to use those lugs then to use the original Shelby design simply because they were uncommon and you just couldn't walk into any auto parts store and buy one off of the shelf.

I not aware of the person or persons ultimately responsible for that decision?
