Won't get into the many issues but do have one question. I assume the grille is a made up replacement and not a stock piece?

On closer look, it is expanded metal type, but light color.  I agree that it just doesn't look right, Pat.
Plenty of other things to critique.

Keep critiquing.   Wheels, 1 piece nose, trans lines. Older restoration old paint with several flaws, trans needs rebuilt.  Are those cracks in underneath?  Wrong drivers door. Any chance this thing was a re-body?

Car has some issues for sure but might be a good opportunity for those looking for a "project" car if the price does not get out of hand.

Its missing a lot of expensive parts, that carb is big money, smog, intake, wheels, etc...

$115k + $100-150k to restore... math doesn't seem to add up.  Guess the buyer can just leave it as-is and beat on it for a while.

Why buy a nice car for 140 today when you could buy this for 115, put 100 more into it, and then have the same car in 3 years?

Helluva deal

Not everybody is looking for a perfect car because some people actually drive them.
I'm not singling out anyone in particular, but assuming the car was vetted as an original 1968 Shelby, perhaps this was all someone could've hoped for for that money.
No affiliation, didn't buy it.
Less money than an Eleanor.......
