What is the end game for this car? A full restoration or something in between.

Getting restored the previous owners attempt was pretty poor / British racing Green with black and wires
Some where some one is driving their collector car for the last time but they don't know it . Drive your car every time like it could be the last memory of it .

Are you participating in the restoration process?

Quite frankly, it's none of our business, and I personally find it distasteful that someone asked, as if it was their right to know such things.

I kind of have a disdain for that reply. Just trying to figure out, for myself and everybody else, what is the going rate on a real Cobra in need of some restoration. One can give a good close guess as to what an assembly needed Shelby Mustang would cost by the different years. Cobras are way different. And if it would be needed to be kept out of public veiw, that is what a simple PM would do.

Case by case. Too Mary variables like originality, documentation, etc. It's a seven figure automobile so whether you pony up at Mecum or have it restored its probably going to be the same investment in the end. Now if you have the talent and shop to tackle it yourself then that's a plus. Otherwise its time and materials sans budget- not on a car like this.
