I know the car, buddy owned it for many years, it's one of the "gray" cars still had the Bill Stroppe rear suspension modifications on it, still does.

Here's a photo of it after the dealership sold it, they required the next owner to repaint the car as they didn't want people to think the dealership was still involved or sponsoring the car

"...Marv Tonkin Ford purchased and registered vehicle to its self February 25, 1967 becoming the 1st owner.  The dealership repainted the car Wimbledon White with blue stripes and drag raced in "MODIFIED PRODUCTION" with the following modifications.  Bill Stroppe /AFX style suspension, (details in MARQUE Vol. 3, No. 4, page 52), side discharge exhaust similar to road-race cars, full interior (required for "Modified Production" in 1967), radio was removed (block-off plate added), battery moved to the trunk, twin electric fuel pumps were added and they removed the power brake booster and power steering components. ..."

He put it back to the factory "gray" ...  He would have liked to have seen those image you posted Brian, THANKS!

I think Les Swayze worked for the Marv Tonkin dealership, (at least that's what I was told)
