Blackout inside of upper and lower scoops?

A friend of mine is just finishing restoring a '67 Gt350 in Acapulco blue.  The question came up about whether or not there is blacking out of the inside of the upper and lower scoops.  If so, is it flat or semi black?

Mine look as they have a little shine to them I can send pictures when I get home since the car hasn't been altered

I used the semi-gloss too without any beefs from the Concours judges.  On the upper scoop, no blackout on the rear side (outlet) end.
P/S:  I cut a piece of foam to put into the lower scoop so the front tires don't kick up rocks and pebbles to clean out when displaying the car.

I'd love to see some pics of your original scoops if you can.

Thanks for all the replies.
