Found this photo in my files. Not sure where it originated (old forum?).

This doesn't have the "S.E.V. Marchal" text like in the illustration posted earlier.

You could also take a foglight housing to a good auto upholstery shop and have them make up a couple of covers like the picture too. Since they weren't on the cars to begin with leaves a lot of room for innovation . I would probably want a thin piece of high density rubber sewn on the backside of the front facing vinyl to protect the glass more then the vinyl alone.Or at least a double thickness in that spot.

OR.. you can go to a detail shop and have the clear lens covers cut, like they use on headlamps, or front bras. they used to make them with a plastic film that was about an 1/8 inch thick, peel and stick almost invisible. phred

Steve, like you, when I bought my Dec build '68 41 years ago the OEM lamps had seen better days.  Both reflectors were rusty and on lens was cracked.  Options then were not available to me.  Purchased a new pair of similar Marchals and squirreled away the originals.  I am not interested in concours, but would like to find the best middle ground.  Perhaps have the original lamps restored, but with modern bulb?  The reproduction distributed by NPD?
