Heck of return on investment for the seller. I was following it also on Vintage-mustang.com. Seller says he bought it for $1000.

Often when you make your most/highest percentage of money. Quick flip with little or no cost (time or money) in the prep.  Never seems to be a shortage of dreamers willing to by projects.

For me I found that I made all my money when I purchased a car rather than when I sold it. More likely to find a surprisingly low purchase price than a surprisingly high sale price ;)

Just my experiences from when I use to do this on a regular basis.

1967 eight barrel

It sold for 26, 766.00.  In that condition, at least 100K to do a decent restoration.  At minimum.
