Just picked up my 67 vent window frames from plater in TN. They look fantastic!
Paid $400 for the pair to be plated ,with a 4 week turn around.

Did they keep the fine character lines down in the 'crotch' area?     I've seen that area buffed out so bad that it's entirely flat.

Yes, the lines are still clearly visible.

Love to see a picture if you have one, Brent

Now to find someone who can do the vents in the inside sail panels.

Not sure how well picture will come out, but will go out to shop and give it a try.

Wonder if they do satin chrome? May give them a call.

Looks like they turned out nice, might have to try them sometime.

Any chance you can get a better angle on the lower corner?

My picture below of original before chrome show clear edges.

Might just be the lighting that hides the top edge in you picture.

Thanks for sharing.

Crud!  Just got mine back from another plater and the lines are GONE!!!  Oh well.  Just posted a little too late for me.  At least I have now replaced the repops my restorer installed and KEPT the originals!  My fault for not being more hands on and knowledgeable during the restoration process.  Another lesson for me! Physically CHECK EVERYTHING during the restoration process.

Although this area is still well defined, I would say the rechromed version might be as much as 5% less defined.
New pictures really didn't show the detail.

If the die cast has pitting its super hard to fill the pits and keep the lines defined
