Dash tag metal

Was there a dash tag that SA put on the dash of a 67 Shelby when new? Or maybe the dealer put it on. I have something that says basically, " Shelby American INC, especially made for...." It is a metal tag.

Not a factory standard - Dealer or owner installed, not all cars got them.  Sometimes placed on the under-dash gauge set  between the gauges.

Repros are out there.

Oh OK, I got one with my car, it was off, maybe its for the car I got. I don't think I would put it on the car, but maybe just keep it with all the paperwork.

Does it have a persons name engraved on it? 

Does the name match any of the previous owners of the car (if they are known)?

If no name you could have yours added.

I has some company name on it. I will dig it out and see what it says. It looks kind of corny, I think.
