$10,000 racing stripes for the new GT 500

The reason cost is high.   Cars are being pulled off assembly line and brought to Penske facility and then painted by a human not robot and then clearing virtually entire car again.  They are burying  the stripes in the clear and will  have a much nicer finish from what I am told.  Not crazy when you think about the extra time spent  and and virtually painting  an entire car again.   

Just my 2 cents from a bodymans standpoint.  lol

I don't care the reason. Anyone willing to pay that for stripes is foolish.

Those cars depreciate very significantly. Buy a 60s Shelby with stripes and watch it appreciate.

My dealer wants 82 for a '19 R model. 10 over sticker. I just saw a '17 with 6,000 sell for 47. How are they a good deal?
