Spoiler was there at least from 1977.

Interesting Norway photo john looks like all cars u see over there mudflaps or rock guards and added reflectors side and rear as that was part of required laws over there at the time the way I understand back in the day. I can see by looking at johns Shelby photo that spoiler design is 69 boss 302 as well as added boss rear spoiler.  The 69 boss 302 front spoiler was the service replacement for 69-70 Shelby and 69 boss 429 as (1 size fits all) replacements. I have never seen a 70 Shelby or a 69 b9 nos front spoiler in the box from a ford dealership. The only nos 69 b9 or 70 Shelby front spoilers that have been found were leftovers out of KK plant from what I seen anyway.

Mudflaps and orange rear reflectors was required by law. Had a realy heated argument with my local DMV about that. I simply refused to add some generic ugly orange lamps on my car. Guess who was the winner! ;-)

Just for reference, here's a pic I have in my files of a '69 Boss 302, my note says Finland, I think it's a recent photo.

Pete - was #480004 on the loading list of the 15 cars together with #0007 and #0017 or on another?

Coralsnake

Im not sure which document you are referring to. It was sent to the engineering department . There is no further information.

#53
I just remember that there was an early 1969 Shelby delivery loading list of 15 cars (to Claude Du Bois) and another with 5 cars of the first two batches probably. Of course the VIN's don't need to be nor were sequential.
I am not sure where I got this information from, but it sticks in my head. (maybe around the topic of #480001) a decade or more ago.

Coralsnake

You may be correct. I dont think anyone knows where #4 went. It may not even be in Europe
