What size drill bit do you use to drill out rivets holding the door tag on and where do you buy the new rivets?

Never drilled them out so don't know

Multiple other methods of removing them without drilling

Almost any parts vendor will carry the rivets. Marti Autoworks, Virginia Mustang, NPD, Jim Cowles, ........

The rivets are soft aluminum, so just barely distort the rivet from the rear (inside the door cavity) and push out.
