July 1965. The photo with the sportroof had to be taken in 68-70 time frame. Note the Crager SS wheels in the rally photo. Confirmed they were 6" wide with Pirelli Cinturatos.

Interesting thread ! Really Long shot  poor quality, but there is a blue fastback to the left of the Rambler American in this shot

at Fremont in '69, might not be your car, might just be a spectators ?  I was looking for something else in my files and noticed it in

the back ground. Good luck in your search !

Many thanks for your effort. Could be but nothing defined. Does not look like it is lifted in the rear but very hard to tell. If you looked at the photo with a magnifying glass before you scanned it, maybe there is something telling there. Nice Rambler Scrambler. I drove a new one once when my neighbor (Frank Airheart) brought one home from work after Hurst bought him out.

Interesting - I saw the stationwagon photo before. The funny thing is that I had that exact same station wagon that I hauled my Shelby with to Willow Springs with. Only difference was that it was in the 90's!! Love that photo. I sold the station wagon to a friend in KC who later sold it to someone in Florida.

       I have seen pick #1 before as well. Texas or Tennesse IIRC.
   #2 is 5S360 in the pits at Lions Drag Strip in Long Beach ('65) before the repaint to blue metalflake.
