Any experience with an Edelbrock XF-8 cross ram?

I was curious if anyone has any firsthand experience running an Edelbrock XF-8 cross ram on a 289 or 302?

Performance? Driveability? Clearance issues with hood, valve covers, etc.?

It sure would look good under the hood of a classic Ford.

I could not use it with my aluminum covers, and still perform regular valve adjustments... but ... dayum it was cool!!!

I had one  it would  fit  under stock 67 mustang hood with 2 600 holleys ........air cleaners were  going to be an issue   / never ran it   /
