Tachometer Wiring Grommet?

Did the original tachometer have a grommet where the wires pass through the mounting bracket? Mine does not have a grommet; just a hole in the mounting bracket.
Own SFM6S1624, Black Hertz Automatic built 3/66 now concours trailered restored by Ken Degenstein. Former owner of 1042 a red Hertz automatic and 1643 a black automatic Hertz

I have not seen a grommet from the many tach's I have observed.   So I'd say no grommet.
