Does anyone know what magazine this article was in? It looks like a very interesting read and I'd like to see the additional photos!

It's just an image that I grabbed from somewhere that didn't have any info:

Thanks!

Side-Oilers

I used to know the author/photog David Gooley. He was for the most of his career a freelance writer and racing photog.

That might be an East Coast car magazine, or a small circulation West Coast mag. The paper doesn't appear to be the quality that the larger mags used. But it is very old, so I can't tell for certain.

Looks like a neat piece.
Current:

Okay, Thanks. Maybe a Google search of David Gooley will lead me to a magazine he wrote for or something...

Hey Stephan,

I'm having fun NOW! What a nice score you made!!

I have no idea how you knew about the source of that article, that's just amazing to me. I had searched all over and sent several emails to recommended sources, all with no replies whatsoever.

Boy, how I would like to get my hands on that race program to do some nice scans of the article. But just knowing the source now is a very fulfilling start.

Much appreciated - Thanks again very much,

Hello Kieth,

many thanks for your response.

I am happy to have helped you.

some friends of mine claim that I have a good picture of memory
and therefore I recognized the article right away.

Some time ago I searched the whole homepage as best I could and
saved pictures, so the article was already saved in my archive.

I also find this article and the pictures very interesting,
especially because of the Super Daytona Coupe and the insight into Hangar 9 from LAX

Hope you find the original Magazine and get better Pics from the articel.

Thank you so much for rekindling my interest in this whole Shelby thing
