Looking to have my PS pump, ram and control valve rebuilt in the near future for my 67 GT 350.  Any suggestions on who to contact?  Obviously want them to work as they should but also want to have the proper appearance and finishes done right.

Thanks in advance.

Roger at Rhodes Restoration is the best. No website but Google him.

Royce Peterson

I used to use Rodes and had good luck with the stuff he worked on. Lately I have been using Chockostang also with great success. Rode did not paint the pumps or supply tags like Chockostang does. Price is very similar. Turn time for either one is typically a week.

I think both of those rebuilders does good work however don't assume that the finishes will be up to concours expectations unless you have the parts left unfinished and you finish them off yourself .

I put 4,000 miles on chockostang rebuilt p/s components.  He's got my vote.  No leaks and everything works perfectly.

Glad to hear that. I was going to send him an original idler to restore. That was last year when he was still on winter break and not back then Covid hit and I put it off. Thanks. Gary

The bushings are easy to press in but a real pain to get out.
