69 side window trim piece

69 side window trim piece that glues to the back of the glass wher  the rubber attaches to adjacent to the quarter window, irs Stainless Steel but how shiny is it supposed to be? Polished up to look like chrome or a lesser shine?

Originally it came industrial polished (chemical process?) the same as the windshield trim. It was never a mirror chrome finish . It was a lessor shine then mirror chrome from the factory.
