Is the 1968 GT500KR Shelby Ram Air cleaner approximately 17 in diameter?

Does somebody have the measurement or could you measure the diameter of a 1968 GT500KR Shelby Ram Air cleaner? I would appreciate it.

Housing = 16 3/8   Top plate = 14 that's what I have.

Awesome!  By the way did you measure at the top of the lip and inside diameter or outside diameter for the housing or was this measurement taken at the bottom of the housing with it flipped over?

The regular common air cleaners are 17''  1 part and have  soup bowl  centers The holley carb performance air cleaners are 2 part flat centers 16 1/4'' that first came out on 67 390 gt and 428 t-birds.
