Watched yesterday hoovies tv  show Car Issues on motor trend, it is a funny light hearted show where he purchased cars with problems.

A younger me immediately related to this program.  How many times do we purchase a car on impulse or on emotions to later get buyers remorse for buying the P. O. S. this is that program.  Runs for thirty minutes and remember it's a program, its for fun.

As I stated previously when he bought the GT350H :

"I'm telling you saacers after I started to view more of his compilations,  he is a  creative genius."

We give hoovies show two thumbs up, again very entertaining

Now after his show this blonde gal Courtney has another show. They refurbish cars and give them away. The concept sounded good like the Chip Foose program.

But then I was horrified that they took a very rough Buick Grand National and cut a hole in the metal roof to put a cloth rag on it.

It gets worse,  the black Darth Vader paint on ALL Grand Nationals is now repainted silver and black with a red int, custom wheels.  YUK !

Our thoughts on this program, the gal was pure eye candy.

The transformation of the Grand National gets our 3H award,  hideous, horrendous and horrible. This series is not for me

I met Courtney Hansen at a car show next to the Queen Mary in Long Beach CA. (maybe 200 - 2001 ish?) At the time she was co - hosting Overhauling. I just looked at her Wiki page and her parents owned Brainerd drag strip when I raced there in the 1970's. And she was born in the same town I was.

None the less I agree, the show was terrible and I won't be wasting any of my time watching in the future.

Ah yes, the ever popular plot line:
"We take a unique vintage beauty and make it into some cookie cutter bs."

Years ago my wife wanted to attempt sending my truck to an "overhaulin" kinda deal while I was offshore.
I threatened to burn the truck in the yard.
At least the ole F100 would die respectfully with her rust and 4-5 seat covers.
