 68  gt 350 2096   is where the shelby thing  started for me  ...  Family friend had  restoration shop  and owned that car about  1983  . I remember his son installing the  accessory trim panels  under the doors .
Some where some one is driving their collector car for the last time but they don't know it . Drive your car every time like it could be the last memory of it .

Thanks for the link. I still will never understand some prices on Boss 302s. More than a 67 GT500?

I think the Boss only had 5500 miles on it - may be why it went for so much.

Well that would explain a lot for this car with only that many miles and condition. I have seen others restored and not low miles break 200K but at the big auctions.
