I have had this for many years and got it from a previous employer in 1980. He told me it was an award for first Mustangs sales. Any of you watch collectors seen one before? Are they rare? Thanks

Doesn't look like a 1964/5 product (leather & metal bands at that time and no novelty look). Maybe something from the 80s or 90s.

Saginaw MI. He was my dad's step dad. Interesting little guy. Built prototype trucks - installed the first GM diesel in a private truck. Ran a service dept. Owned his own shop. Owned the service dept at a Buick dealership. Oh and raced motorcycles.

Really cool that you still have everything.   That's a lot more than I have from my grandpa of the same era.  Although he was a Buick man, and picked-up his '50 Super direct from the Flint factory.

My grandfather owned the service part of Garber Buick in Saginaw until he retired. His last car was a 66 Buick Electra 2 door with the 425. It had been a GM exec car. The dealership sold a lot of those buying them wholesale when they got turned back in with a few thousand miles on them.

My grandpa's last car was a '62 Electra 225 sedan that he owned until he died in '67.   He'd owned Buicks since the 1920s, all bought from the same dealer.

When my Grandfather passed away about 25yrs ago the family decided I should have his 65 four door Chevy Impala with a 327. Power seats and AC still work.

+1 - My grandfather never drove that 66 Electra in the snow - it was his forever retirement car. They'd use my grandmothers Chevy in winter. After she died my grandfather came to CA and my dad drove his car out here. It took my sister about a year to run it out of oil and kill it.
