What style is correct for my 67 GT350  build? the Oval  or the pricey  Hipo round air filter? Trying to make it look correct

Short answer...The round HiPo 14" Chrome lid and blue painted base. Check out Virginia Mustang Supply for a quality reproduction. The 67 gurus here can tell you the specifics of the painted base.

+1 . That is as close as you are going to get repro. Unless you have smog plug the nipple on the repro base and use the small diameter no nipple push on breather cap. Don't forget the COBRA sticker for the front of the lid.
