Bob was a cornerstone of the Hobby and this Club. I think a Bob Aliberto track award should be designed and presented at the next event.

I think that is a wonderful idea.  :)

Hard to find a nicer and more passionate Shelby guy than Bob.

I was blessed to be able to call Bob my friend.  So many good memories. As Bill said, he was truly a good soul.

He didn't let little things like RPM's bother him when he was on the track.  ;)

I never saw him without a smile when he was at a track or in his car.

Thanks for sharing the stories.  I grew up in Westchester County (moved South in 2002) and don't think I ever met Bob.  Wish I had.

SAAC needs more guys like him.  Just out to have a good time with his Shelby and enjoy his fast-driving friends. Meeting others who shared his passion.  Not taking life so seriously, even when he regularly crashed/rolled his car...according to some of the above comments.

I never met Bob, but he sounds like some of the best kinds of car people I've known. They're fun to hang out with.

That's probably why we all joined SAAC, right?  To hang out with cool Shelby guys.  I sure did.
