I appreciate the sentiment .Thank you very much. Here are some pictures of 66-70 Shelby factory replacement manuals. So it was not isolated to that one 66 manual being discussed . I did not put the original 66 manual in this owners manual picture because unless close up you can't tell the difference between the first printing cover next to the replacement cover of the white and blue 66 manual.

Where does the light blue/dark blue 66 replacement manual fit into all this? It is very similar to the ebay manual we are discussing in that it is not cropped to the edges of the dark blue artwork making it larger than both the white/blue replacement shown and original first printing manual. Is it considered another replacement version or perhaps a copy of the white/blue replacement?
The darker blue or turquoise blue manual is the most likely the last produced variation of the factory replacement manuals I believe but I would not stake my life on it. I have heard tell of a black and white cover version of the turquoise cover manual that came out after but I have not held one in my hands.

Thanks Bob.

For clarity would it be reasonable to call these larger versions with margins beyond the dark blue artwork as 3rd printing manuals?

Reference photos attached of the manual on ebay and per the discussion so when the ebay ad expires we can still remember what we were talking about.

On this one, I believe the cover was light blue like shown in Bob's photo.  The inside covers are light blue.  I assume the outside was sun bleached or damaged from water making it lose it's blue color.

I agree after reviewing the inside pages (thank you very much) that it is a faded cover originally blue .It appears to be water damaged and sun faded .The blue cover dye soaked through to the inside pages  For a minute I thought we had another variety.  I hadn't visited this subject of factory replacement manuals in some time so I was surprised when I pulled out my manuals . I found the black and white version that I had forgotten about. Total of 4 printings it seems (and counting LOL) . I posted a picture with the first printing on the right. The cover tint seems slightly different between the two that may be attributed to fading. The second is the same size except it was made from the file example and has the blank hole punch's and slightly less resolution . The 3rd is the black and white version that has the same inside issues besides the B+W cover. The 4th is the larger size blue cover with same inside similarities as the others .

The difference in shade of the first two blue and white manuals is not that drastic in real life. The Iphone camera is no doubt the culprit. I would say that they are supposed to be the same.
