I'm looking for a program or an original participant listing for the 1969 NHRA nationals in Indianapolis.

Anyone have any info on what I should be searching for or might know a source to find the participant list?

Check with the NHRA museum. https://nhramuseum.org/  You can also look for coverage in magazines or back issues of National Dragster. The latter generally had the entire entry list along with results or if they didn't show up.

You need to create an account to see if this one is still available - https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/1969-nhra-15th-nationals-entry-list-408090252

Drag Racing Magazine - page 40 - https://www.ebay.com/itm/313768600724

There is a neat video of the 1969 and 1970 US Nationals at Indianapolis that is worth seeing:

This one is pretty good too :

Narrated by the great Steve Evans, before his voice dropped to basso profundo, and his intensity increased to his famous "Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!" fast-patter yell.

I could watch this stuff all day long. What an era...not just in cars and racing, but in women too. Yowza!

I went to the Pomona Swap meet with Evans once. As soon as he spoke people would turn around and recognize him. He was looking for 2 things a BB El Camino and an old Whizzer motorbike.

Brett: That's cool. Yes, Steve had a very recognizable awesome voice. THE voice of drag racing.

I worked him on a couple of TV things while I was at Popular Hot Rodding (1982-87.)  He was a great guy and had a wide variety of car tastes.

One time, at Willow Springs for a TV shoot, he let me drive his hot-SBF-powered Jaguar around the track. I'd never driven a Jag, and it was cool looking, ran strong and sounded great.  He let me drive it as many laps as I wanted.  Of course, I was respectful that it was his personal car, not a tester, and didn't try to set fast lap record.
