Have you heard about the new rule that EU is proposing?

It is really stirring up the hot rod and custom car scene over here.
It's a shocker, especially for those of us who love to tweak and customize our rides.

Here's what's happening: The EU wants to change the rules about what counts as a "historic vehicle." And it's not just a small tweak – it's a big deal that could hit our community hard. Under this new rule, to keep your car classified as historic, you need to meet three tough conditions: It's got to be at least 30 years old, its model type can't be in production anymore, and it must be preserved in its original state without major changes. That's right – all those custom modifications that give our cars their unique character could disqualify them.

But wait, it gets even more serious. Extensive restoration projects, parts cars, and even private parts sales could pretty much become illegal with this directive as it stands. And if your car ever gets de-registered or taken off the road, it's automatically considered an End of Life Vehicle (ELV). That means you've got to take it to an approved recycling station without unreasonable delay.

The new rules also say that national authorities will have to check every time a car changes hands. They'll decide if it's just a regular used car or an ELV. If it's an ELV, the transfer is blocked, and you guessed it – off to recycling it goes.

Delete this bullshit, this will never happen. This is totally wrong and will never pass any court in the EU.



And this law below that you quoted here is a fact since 1975 in EU and what happened nothing!
