I purchased a '66 HP Conv last year and it has a small letter Cobra aluminum 4v intake and Holley List 1850-2 carb.  Trying to find out what correct application this carb has and any approximate market value range?  I would like to remove it, put on an OEM 4100 Autolite and sell this to someone who could use it, but know little about it.  You can see from one photo, someone has applied epoxy to one of the rear ports on driver side.  There are some early Hollys I've seen discussed that have date codes on the third line of data.  I only see two lines on mine and unsure if mine is dated or not?  After researching archived posts, Im still unsure if the 1850-2 was originally used on a particular model or year, considered a replacement or just an available replacement alternative.  Seems that once an item sells in the market sections, that the prices also disappear, which isn't helping my research.  Thanks for any help you can offer.

Common aftermarket 600 cfm vac secondary made the 310th day of 1979, 1989, 1999, 2009 or 2019. Holley carbs made for Ford or GM would have a Ford or GM part number in addition to the Holley one.

As stated. Generic 600.
I have bought probably 150-200 of them in the last decade.
I generally pay $35-$55 for one with a universal lever, up to $75 with Ford throttle lever.

The 1850-1 was used on the 430 in the late 1950's. You can tell those by a Fomoco part number.

The 1850- anything else was used on everything and anything. They are a pretty good carburetor. At one time the 1850 Holley was the best selling item in the Summit catalog.

The Holley List 1850-2 is a Universal Off Road Carburetor, when I worked for a speed shop back in the late 1970s we sold them by the pallet load.
The original List 1850-A and 1850-AAS was used in the 1958-1961 Lincoln with the 430 engine, also the 1958-1959 Mercury on the 430 engine and the 1959-1961 Thunderbird 430 engine.
