convertible trunk lid bumper???

again I didn't take this car apart originally so not sure about this... did the convertible deck lid use the stock rubber bumpers or did they get modified with the adjustable ones and were they put in the trunk gutter corner? I have this evidence that someone drilled them in to gutter corner but an not sure this is correct?

some pics. File C shows the trunk light wire painted. FWIW the paint on the wiring and clip  is the factory paint from AO Smith. 2 of my mounting bolts should be different also...I did the car in 2000.
