Is that a Brake Rotor Cooling Can on the Front Brakes?  I have never seen that before.

Yes, there are front brake rotor cooling units installed by Olthoff Racing.  The inlets are to the side of the radiator in the nose.  The Daytona Coupes used front brake rotor cooling as well.  I met with Steve Volk at the Shelby Museum and discussed brake cooling with him while we were taking measurements and pictures of the original 289's there for some modifications on my car.  From what I recall he said some used a similar method of concentrating cold air on the rotors.  In race situations they can get hot and lead to the brake pads getting pushed out and brake fading on hard braking.  After the installation of the cooling units braking was much more predictable.

That is so cool.  I know about the Backing Plates with Cooling Ducts but I never seen anything like that.
