Quote from: 65cobra on December 09, 2024, 05:07:07 PMHello  Long time 69 mustang guy and have had a Factory five cobra for 24 years :)

I am looking for my first og Shelby.  I would like to keep it around the 75k mark but can stretch over 100k for the right car.  Non running is ok but much prefer and intact car.  Automatics are ok.  68 is probably my preferred year but I am open!

Thanks!

have patience, the economy is not 100% opportunities abound.

just viewed this this morning, it will be at mecum in January.

Being that it's a "ultra rare" and "owned by shelby" will be at auction in Florida car should hit $75-100k

Nice write up :

"Looking to buy a piece of muscle car history?

Shelby's old GT500 will go up for a bid on Saturday, January 11, as part of Mecum's annual Kissimmee auctions. The car is being sold without reserve"

there is a horde, well last I counted like 30 of these cars at the kissimee mecum auction.  I have friends near there I am thinking I will go to the auction and check out the american musclecar museum while I am there.

It would be cool to meet up with one of you experts there if any of you guys are going.
