Hello,

Does anyone know yet if RV Parking and also overnight motorhome camping will be allowed in the paddock area at SAAC 50? Is that a track decision or a SAAC decision?

Thanks!

We normally make those arrangements with the track.

Details are not currently available, but they will be posted when they are firm.

I would think that for security the paddock would be off limits during the convention off hours. There are several camping areas they use for the NASCAR event on the property - but out of the paddock. If they want everyone out of the track when it's closed they'll stick you in 50 acre by gate 6.

I did call the track and they told me all camping/RV arrangements are up to the club since it's a full-track rental. My main concern is just making sure that if agreeable overnight RV parking is not available, I still have time to book rooms at the Embassy Suites. Thanks! -Ryan

Assuming you'll be towing a car there are off site options nearby. https://www.napavalleyjourneys.com/napa-valley-rv-parks.html

If I were looking for a nice RV campground closer to San Rafael and Sears Point, I would check out the KOA in Petaluma before I looked into any in Napa.

It's called a 'San Francisco KOA" but don't let that scare you. It's an hour away from SF.

We live in Napa and actually go to the Petaluma KOA for short weekends. It's a very nice, clean campground and they have cabins, too.

I would have said something sooner, but I just found out SAAC 50 was going to be so close. I went to SAAC 3 and SAAC 6, but it's been awhile. Am I dating myself ? I still have my '67
