Not sure if you can still get them but Ford racing replacement freeze plugs had diamonds on them  because the diamonds are rarely seen on the show side of the plug we typically use generic blank replacement steel plugs

 Generic would not be concours correct in Div. 1 Premiere class. I would expect most judges would expect to see at least a couple plugs with the Diamond & MP logo.

You are absolutely correct Bob. Wasn't referring to any class designation but I would only use assembly line parts when doing Div 1 car
