1965 66 hipo fan shroud

Is there a difference in the fan shroud for a Shelby versus the V8 mustang metal shroud?  If not I have a nice one with the brackets.

Hi all,

Does anyone know, did all the assembly line fan shrouds get the rubber pad attached to shroud near batter tray?  It seams all the NOS service shrouds are missing the rubber pad.  I have seen a very few NOS shrouds, maybe the very early service shrouds, come with the pad.  The later service shrouds are also not as smooth, lots of wrinkles from the forming process.

5S228 has the original fan shroud and it has the rubber pad on pass side near where front mounted battery would have been positioned. 5S228 is rear mount battery.
