Non-Auto Rolex Appeal

I'm just taking a long shot here.  Does anyone on this board have a good relationship with an Authorized Rolex Dealer?  It seems there is a world wide supply shortage, and unless you know someone,you are out of luck.  I'm sorry this isn't car related, but I am looking for a 'Daytona' among other possibilities, so that kind of fits.

There are numerous authorized Rolex dealers in the San Francisco Bay Area CA. I have my stainless Daytona serviced by Shreve & Co. in SF, an authorized dealer who forwards it on to Rolex in LA.
There is also Davidson & Licht in Walnut Creek Ca as well as Fortane' in Carmel (which is where my wife bought mine).
A black dial S series model 16520 all stainless from 93-94 (mine) also known as a "Patrizzi" now has more than tripled in value in today's vintage Daytona market since it was new.
If you are seriously looking for a Daytona by it from an authorized dealer only. Is what I would recommend.

I figured there might be a few folks on here with nice watches.  Shelby's and Rolex's seem to go together well.

Thanks, I was also told over the years not to travel abroad with it. They'll cut your arm off in certain countries.

You don't have to be in foreign countries to worry about your well being, just cruise around some big cities like LOS ANGELES or CHICAGO they will cut your arm off for a 50 dollar timex. Don't wear red or blue clothing either, they think you might be representin.

As a Shelby owner and... several Rolexes and other watches (much more expensive than a Rolex) Owner... I have worn a Rolex (or like) to several countries for many years and have never had my arm cut-off yet

Yes, it's a Coke. It was the last year before the switch to a ceramic bezel.  The black/blue "Batman" is an awesome watch, congrats!  Did you see the updated version with the new and improved jubilee band?  They are supposedly going to be announcing it at BaselWorld starting this Friday.  https://www.t3.com/features/baselworld-2019

Good luck!  Very Very hard to get a Daytona these days.  My dealer said that Rolex is not going to increase production on any of their watches. Coupled with the US economy being so good you have a big shortage!
