'67 Center Caps

Was there an early & later version of the '67 center caps for M-Stars.  I have an original that came with the car that does not have a recessed lip at the top-but then I've seen another version that appears to have that recessed lip?  Thx.

The Mag Star center caps have only one top ridge, there were two versions of aluminum (not thin like foil) emblems - not embossed and later embossed.

The wheel centers with two top ridges are for the 10-Spoke cast aluminum wheels (the emblem for those is a bit smaller.)

It is possible to put the two different caps on either wheel even though the outer diameter of the two types are different sizes.
