Power steering hoses

New to the club and wrenching on a Shelby. Where is the best place to find all the power steering hoses for a 67 GT 350? Or, would be better off finding a company I can send mine to and have them make new ones? I am about to rebuild the cylinder and the hoses are 53 years old and tired.
Thanks in advance!

These guys have spent a lot of time and effort to come up with accurate, new steering hoses. I think some judges have worked with them using NOS hoses as examples to make new hoses. The hoses are pricey compared to the what you pick up at the local auto parts store but they look and fit excellent and I speak from experience, the customer service is top drawer.

And welcome to SAAC and the forum. Good luck with your project changing out the hoses. Good to hear you are out wrenching on your car.

As stated, the new repo ones are very nice, but pricey. If looking for replacements, not show pieces,I have been able to get many from NAPA,etc. Do your homework and you will find most are regular Mustang pieces that the supply houses carry.
Good luck....

I wouldn't waste your time with the generic after market auto parts store replacements. I have help literally hundreds of people with this question over the years.  It is almost a guarantee that the auto parts store or even ones from Mustang venders will not fit or look even close to the factory one. Some of the better company's handle the blue dot brand or you can buy them direct. Just make sure they are the Blue Dot brand. Years ago i gave them assemblyline examples as patterrns and they did a very good job.  67 GT 350 P/S hoses are different then 67 289/302 regular Mustang P/S hose's. Don't let anyone tell you different. .

Full disclosure... It is NOT my car. It is a friend of mine car. Awesome story...he owned and raced it in the 70's and now has bought it back again. It is not a concourse original car, but I want to do it justice!!

Thanks for all the replies! I am sure I will have many questions. Such as, is the steer cylinder the same as a mustang? I will be rebuilding it as well.

Believe you are asking about the ram (connects the frame rail bracket and the center link)

Good information Bob..... thank you.

How can you tell the difference in an Eaton and Ford pump ?  I have a line that I believe has a drip so I am going to replace them all since I have no idea how old they are......

Not Bob but...
If there is evidence of the Original color the teal= Thompson/Ford and Black = TRW ALSO if the tag is still on the back of the pump the middle line will have a "F" = Thompson, see attached. (I think the TRW has a "T" ? but having a lapse of memory at the moment)

Also, the Thompson was painted without the dipstick in it and the dipstick is not painted
The TRW was painted with the dipstick in it and it is black  But when the dipstick is out the very top of the tube is not painted.

Which cars got the TRW Pumps?
Both were used . It was a duplicate supplier so that there was no short supply.

JD you need to add that the front of the pump case casting is different between TRW and Ford Thompson.

Yes, the cast bracket that holds the pump is what Bob is referring to...this recent thread has some regarding this difference

The bracket has differences also . I was not referring to the bracket. I was referring to the pump itself. Specifically the front of the cast pump core that fits into the sheet metal reservoir . The front of pump casting is different between TRW and Ford Thompson.I will try and post some pictures later.
