Early 67 dated C7OF-F Distributors seen on KRs?

Have there been reports of early dated (January or February '67) C7OF-F distributors being installed in any KRs? It seems there have been reports of some 68 1/2 Cobra Jet Mustangs and Cougars and possibly Torinos and Cyclones coming with these Distributors from the factory.

I would assume they would have been used earlier in the production run of the cars ( March to May)?

Bringing this thread back up just to see if we can come up with some fresh information on this topic. Based on what is learned here, there's a chance the distributor section of the 428 Cobra Jet site might be updated on the subject. It also might save some members time looking for a distributor they may think they need for their car because they think they have the wrong one.

It would be interesting to know if a gap exists in making the C7OF 12127-F distributors. If the gap in date codes exists it would point to Ford having to rob the service parts supply in order to support the assembly line which is not an unusual thing in 1968 model year.

I have one with a February 1968 date on my 427 car and one with April date on my 428CJ.
