This is just a Birthday show out to car no. 875, the nightmist GT500 owned by 2112.  53 years ago it was completed at Shelby American LAX, bound for Marty French Ford in Watsonville, CA.   My good friend Michael has been a wonderful custodian of this car for sometime now.  Make sure to take her out for ride today, even if it's just around the block.   ;D

Happy Birthday to you too my friend.

Has it really been 53 years since the two you arrived? Time flies.

Sun is out, I certainly have the time, you are right, I need to get out there. Hopefully you will too.   ;D

Thanks guys, weirdest birthday I can remember.  I did sit down and watch the Gumball Rally after not seeing it for 40 years.  What a great time that movie is.  I especially loved the joke about the Jag team never getting their car started in the garage.  As the two guys are sitting under the dead V12 E-type, the one turns to the other and says, "You know, it's beautifully engineered."   :o

I understand they did that scene to Jaguar because the company protested their car being glorified in an illegal road race. The movie scene was the response.
"Low she sits on five spoke wheels
Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"
