FYI it is add on A/C which if you were going have a owner modification that would be the one to have. Too late a car to have a 66 style shift knob.

Is the auction real? I always wonder why people put the high price for an opening bid, and it will not sell because of a reserve.

There is a 2013 Boss LS I have been asking the price  on for 5 times now, it has been in re-listville for 5 fricken times! WHY WHY WHY do they do that....?

Just a quick personal gripe here.  I never understand how someone can obviously spend big money restoring a '67 Shelby and then they cheap out and use those horrible mustard colored fender badges and grill/dash/trunk/gas cap emblems.  With just a little effort you can secure NOS fender badges and gas cap pretty easily.

Bob do you know that by looking at the car or by what registry indicates?

Both. The Shelby VIN indicates a base 4 speed(400). Pictures under the hood show not much assemblyline as it relates to the A/C. The shifter knob is a early late Mustang thing . Only the earliest Shelbys got the 66 shifter knob. This car is almost two thirds through production and the opposite of early.

For us novices, what's the tell-tale sign of owner added?

Probably that it doesn't show on any factory paper work, i.e., window sticker, DSO sheet, etc. ?
