No, someone paid market price. It took 2 people to dictate the price. The price was what 2 people were willing to pay for it. Last year I bid up to 80K for my old 67 GT350, someone got it for 82K, that was market value. I did not want it for any more that what I bid up to.

Ignoring the current nonsense going on in the country (the number of people out of work, cities burning, stock market slump and slow rebound etc) made for a bad time for the seller and a good time for the buyer.  sour grapes and a sad life shouldn't stop congrats on a good purchase/deal..

Seemed like a great deal to me.

Probably around $20,000 not paid to a big auction house for one thing. ::)

From the BAT website

Seller

. The best place to sell a collector vehicle, period. $99 to list, no other fees for the seller, and a custom auction for your vehicle on our site.

Buyer

How much is the buyer's fee? If you win an auction we charge 5% of the final bid price on top of the winning bid, with a minimum fee of $250 up to $5,000 (5% of a $100,000 bid). The fee for sales higher than $100,000 is capped at $5,000.

with the modifications on it i don't think it so low in curent market ..?

FL SAAC

We think it really did well, here are some values from early this year. With everything that's going on we truly think these early values have tanked possibly 20-30%. But remember all that goes down will eventually go up...

Hello friend,

What car did they sell?

Was it a 65/66?

No, this was/is a 69 GT350 and those where the prices earlier this year for a 69 GT350, when the situation was normalized or as close to it.

The 65/66/67 are in a class of their own.
