1968 firewall heater hose grommet

cant find any on line should i assume they were not available in 68? i do see 69-70. My car does NOT have them.

No grommets for AC cars that plugged the firewall in 68' where the non-AC cars heater core passes through??

the core had original hoses still connected but cut, so i know it wasnt touched and i didnt see any old grommet pieces left in the openings. i have a 70 mach I that did have the grommets. Neither are AC cars. I was certain i shouldnt have them but wanted to be sure. thanks for confirming all!

OP question was about grommets around heater hose NOT about block off when AC installed. Lets not confuse the issue.

Start a new thread if you want an answer to the blocked off heater hose when AC used question, I will be happy to answer.
