70 Shelby gt 500 anntenna trunk detail information needed, June 9 69 car

Pete have u ever found and photos or info on how the bottom blackout was done on 69 shelby hoods as original cars i seen were done oddly the way the paint lines were masked off?

Ed,  Im confused on the over-spray of body color on wires, ,,, why would there be over spray when the car was painted at dearborn  then the antenna was installed at Smith,  Bob

Actually the antenna wasn't installed at A. O. Smith but at the dealer...

True like all antennas part of dealer prep. There is a 1970  540 mile shelby coming to our october show thats not been out in the public since 1970 and that car still has antenna laying in trunk never installed but the long cable was installed and routed thru the car when the car was assembled at aosmith .
