Was attempting to find out if you had a Gt500 - GT350 or a KR??

What you provided is not enough information

If its an original pump you will need to send to to a rebuilder to uncrimp the base and then recrimp it once the new parts are installed.

Fred rebuilds them in batches a few times a year. If you do a search of this site you will find his contact info

FYI the assemblyline fuel pump for a 68 GT350 will be of the non serviceable crimp together button top variety. If that is what you have (button top) and not a aftermarket crimped on lower half then pm me and i will give you Fred Ballards contact info. The crimp together lower half NON button top Carter Pump is not worth rebuilding. Fred is the only person currently that can rebuild that style that i am aware of.   If you have the aftermarket Carter fuelpump with the screw together midsection then you can get a rebuild kit from NPD for about 40.00. The same kit will work on aftermarket Carter clamshell style screw body fuel pump regardless of if for 428 ,289,302 or 351.
