This car has been discussed here previously and thought consensus it was a clone?Not sure I would want my identity known if I drove like that on the street.  That car is all over Instagram!

Addendum:  Just spotted the export brace.  Bolts are not equidistant.  Not an original.

It's an A code mustang poorly dressed up as a gt350 - it's a shame that people can't just enjoy their mustang, they need to pretend it's a Shelby.

I assume by your comment you know the owner and have seen the car personally?

I was hoping he knew the owner, I would love to know what exhaust system he has.  It sounds wicked.

In the video, he said he has Tri-Y headers, an X-Pipe and an "Auger" muffler.
I had to do some internet research on that one as I'd never heard of an Auger muffler before.

I own a real Shelby and I see nothing wrong with someone building a clone. It does not diminish my car or the brand of my car. I don't speak for everyone but I speak for me. Not trying to start something in the forum- I'm ok with clones. Additionally as I see the price of 65 and 66 GT-350's going up in value it cant be hurting the hobby that much!

People build them for the love of Carroll Shelby and the love of these cars- it what brings us all together. In my eyes it makes real GT350's more desirable.

I saw the car in person when I used to live in Los Angeles, it's an A code mustang. I disagree with people that think this is okay, the car had a fake Shelby vin tag on it and is being portrayed as a real car, lets hope it's representing 2227 since the owner of that Shelby is cool with it.
