I saw the car in person when I used to live in Los Angeles, it's an A code mustang. I disagree with people that think this is okay, the car had a fake Shelby vin tag on it and is being portrayed as a real car, lets hope it's representing 2227 since the owner of that Shelby is cool with it.

Not a necessary or productive comment.

What's not necessary?  I do hope that someone who is okay with a car sporting a fake vin tag and number is the one who's number is being used.

In the video, he said he has Tri-Y headers, an X-Pipe and an "Auger" muffler.
I had to do some internet research on that one as I'd never heard of an Auger muffler before.

Sounds absolutely amazing!

Sorry i offended you (or others) but it is just your opinion, as it is mine. That is fine, I'm sure there are others which share both our opinions. I've seen many clones but never seen one with an actual Shelby number on the vin. I'm sure they exist ive not seen one. Most vins i see are unstamped......  i did see one once stamped FAKE - that was funny - this was at the 45 anniversary MCA show at Barber motorsport.

Seems like your comment was slightly vindictive but sure if someone wants put 2227 on their tag fine with me ( as suggested by 427hunter). I'm the caregiver of the real car and nothing can change that. The clone owners Ive interacted with love shelbys that is why they incorporated GT350 styling into their cars. My opinion,  it is a tribute to these cars that we all love and the legacy of GT350's. If someone has a clone and pretends it is real, they should not do it,  and should never stamp their clone vin tag with a real Shelby number.  ( i just edited this comment to be more clear) But it does not hurt my car or my hobby.

Once again sorry if i offended you- not my intent. This forum should be for all with varying opinions.

BTW- I love this forum........ almost as good as owning a GT350!

Sad on several levels

Clone = okay

Representing it as real, with fake Shelby tag = not cool

While purporting a car as a Shelby is bad enough, I was more upset by the manner the car was being driven. I would hate for the public perception of "Shelby" owners to be lumped with this numbskull.
I'm sure his neighbors hold the car owner's behavior in high regard as well.

Are you serious, "upset in the manner the car was being driven" man you must be uptight...LOL?  Drive them like you stole them.  These cars are meant to be driven and driven hard, why do you think people bought them in the first place and why they have a following.  These aren't Cadillacs or Lincoln's, come on man let loose and put your right foot to the floor every once in a while.

When I was a kid I was a jack@ss too, you will grow out of it.. Driving like that it in a residential neighborhood is just disrespectful. I live in the mountains and really get to enjoy my cars but I don't do burnouts in front of my house.

I had to watch some dragracing videos after seeing the first minute of this video to make sure my speakers at the table are ok, the mustang sounds like a damaged 4 cylinder with no power.

I hope and pray I never grow out of being free! You also have no idea the circumstances surrounding this video so you are making assumptions and you know what that gets you.  I also suppose all those people buying new 500-1000HP cars are "just driving them to church and back"  ;D and only use the power on track day.

Come on man you are smarter than that.  Let loose a little and enjoy the video like 99% of real gear heads do.
